My professional filmmaking career began with winning the “Best Short Film” in the science fiction category at The Action On Film Festival for “The Lucky 7”, a script that I also wrote after adapting from a novel I’m currently writing. This led to other festival wins. This caught the attention of entertainment/management company The Firm, and we began a working relationship including numerous pitch meetings, until their closure.
Having a background in performance and directing theater, I like to use visuals to assist in telling the story and telling the relationship between the characters in a scene.
When not taking my kids on adventures, I enjoy martial arts, basketball, photography, reading and experiencing theater.
